MANAGING PROJECTS

Managing ‘built environment’ projects is the flagship product of our firm. Our services in this area are targeted at clients who need to develop
their own properties and infrastructures. We assist such clients through all the project delivery stages from concept to commissioning and occupation. The major services offered include needs assessment, project brief preparation, project scope, time, cost & quality planning, selection of consultants, management & coordination of design preparation, statutory planning approvals, selection of contractors & sub-contractors, contract administration, construction supervision, project commissioning & defects liability period management. We are able to get involved with projects at any stage of the development, be it at the concept, design or construction stage, or indeed if the project gets into trouble.


CLIENTS

We provide these services for clients who do not have the required expertise in-house, or who have a larger volume of work than the in-house staff could cope  with. Our clients include banks developing branches, regional and head offices, oil and gas companies developing base stations, offices and housing estates, property development companies building estates and high rise buildings, governments developing infrastructures, industries developing and expanding their factories, and similar organizations.

BRIEF PROJECTS HISTORY

Commercial Buildings:

Bank Branches have been one of our most successful products. We have had the priviledge of managing the development of over 100 bank branches. Our main clients have been Guaranty Trust Bank and Access BAnk. Others include Sterling Bank, and BAnk PHB. Branches completed in the recent past include Guaranty Trust Bank branches at Ilorin, Alausa and Ikotun, Access Bank branch at Awolowo Road and Sterling Bank in Abeokuta.

Commercial Buildings:

In telecoms, we managed the development of the OES base station for Oando in Port Harcourt.

Industry, Education & Hospitality:

Projects managed in the Hotel & Hospitality development includes the design of 200 bed Hotel Holiday Inn at Abuja; the Protea Hotel – Oakwook Park at Lekki and Oceanwinds Hotel & Wellness Centre, Lekki (now Four Point Sheraton).
Educational developments include International School Complex for Funtaj International School, Abuja, Children Development Centre in Lagos, Renovation of Kings College, Lagos and the development of the Institute for Venture Design in Abeokuta.

Pipelines:

In Oil and Gas, our activities have included the evelopment of nationawide retail outlets for Oando; I Ikorodu Gas Pipeline Construction for Falcongaz Limited financed by SME Managers; Freezone Plant Fabrication International (FPF) also fianced by SME Managers; Flow Line Construction and Installation works for SPDC at Warri by Baywood; and the Construction of Incinerating Plant for Mobil in Eket.

Regional & Infrastructure Planning:

In the planning space, we are proud to have led the preparation of the Regional Plan for Ogun State. We also led the preparation of the Olabisi Onanbanjo University Masterplan, Mass Housing Development for LSDPC in Lagos, Study of Parks and Gardens for Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning and several others. CPMS was the project manager for the development of the Agro-Cargo Airport for Ogun State, the Design of the Olokola Roads and Bridges, Management of the Recurrent and Periodic Mantenance of 50 Roads in Lagos State for LAMATA.
